By smoking the boards during manufacturing, a truly rich and luxurious flooring option is created.

Although the boards can be laid as a floating floor, for uneven sub-floors or specific circumstances, a glue-down installation is also perfectly suitable with the Cologne Smoked & Oiled boards.

Cologne Smoked & Oiled flooring boards measure 1900mm in length by 190mm in width, with a thickness of 14mm and a 2.5mm wear-layer. Each pack has a coverage of 2.88m2. Cologne boards come with a 20-year domestic warranty.

Design

1-Strip, 4-Sided Microbevel - The surface layer of all 1-Strip Kährs flooring boards is sawn from a single piece of wood. This allows the natural appearance of the wood to shine through, including knots, colour variations and grain. Micro bevelling gently creates a subtle rustic finish - a bevelled edge feature on a 1-strip floor gives a very distinct look.

Flooring Finish

Smoked & Oiled – The smoking process alters the colour and shade of the plank for a richer, deeper palette. An oil finish further emphasises the fine structure of the wood, enhancing its colour and character. Oiled floors should be oiled regularly (applied easily with a microfibre mop), but maintenance and cleaning are simple.

Joint Style

Fold-Down Click-Joint – Installation is simple with fold-down click-joint boards. Simply slot neighbouring boards into place for a smooth, ready-to-use floor.
